Remember that time I said I was going to run/walk at least a mile a day and then post about it every Monday until registration opened for a Disney half marathon? Unfortunately, I do. Let's talk about that for a second then.
I started off okay. The first few days I was into it. Then it rained two days in a row and that's when everything got completely derailed. I'm not even going to make excuses. I didn't want to keep going, because it was hard. But what isn't hard when you're just starting? I didn't care though, and I kind of just gave up. I've done "the mile" less than a handful of times since it rained. It's unacceptable, and I'm ashamed.
What am I going to do about it? Tomorrow is a new day. Tomorrow I will be running, or at least trying to, and I will be making sure that I am here next Monday to talk about it. I mean, that's all I can do, right?
