November Goals

October was a pretty good month, y'all! I got some stuff done. Was it on the list? Maybe not, but it was a good month for me, and I'm happy.

1. I am getting a job. Completed!
Finally, finally, finally! It's been almost three months since I graduated, and I hadn't been able to land anything. Now, I'm only working at Target, but it's money coming in and experience on my resume. Plus, it could turn into a career? I'm not knocking anything until I try it.

2. The whole no technology thing I mentioned in this post? It's happening. Fail!
To be completely honest, I forgot about this. Whoops!

3. Tackle a way to become healthy that works for me. Bad goal?
What does this even mean? If you check out yesterday's post you can tell that I'm going to start running, so this will be fun. But, really, I haven't tackled a thing.

4. Contact 20 people working in sports to ask advice for aspiring sport business professionals. Completed!
Well, I actually completed it yesterday, but instead of contacting only 20 people, I did 50! So I'm counting this goal as complete. Should I do a post about the responses when (if) they start coming in? Let me know.

5. Have 5 volunteer opportunities lined up. Fail!
I spent so much of this month applying for jobs that I kind of forgot about this one too.

Now let's see what I'm trying to get myself into this month.

1. Stay off of Tumblr for the entire month.
2. Run (or walk) at least 75 miles.
3. Design the majority of my planner.
4. Survive Black Friday.
5. Have a complete and consistent design for this blog.
6. Blog everyday in November.
7. Create and stick to a GRE study plan.

Also, I'm going to start regularly documenting my running updates. Any creative names for those posts?

What are y'all up to this month? Do you have any tips on how I can complete some of my goals? Let me know!

  1. It's MUCH easier getting a job when you already have a job, so well done there! Also well done networking with professionals to establish a career path (?), and keeping your options open. Yay! November is going to be easy peasy for you. :)
